  Phet - Interactive Simulations
A site from the University of Colorado that has produced simulations for physics, chemistry, biology, earth science and math. The simulations are interactive tools where you can drag and drop items to build into the simulation. Data is measured, recorded and displayed as graphs or number readouts. Lesson plans and ideas for using the simulations are archived and searchable on the site. You may also contribute your own lesson ideas.
Nature Serve Explorer
Resource for plants, animals and ecosystems. This database is constantly being updated by natural heritage programs and is an excellent resource for current status, taxonomy, distribution and historical information for plant and animal species in the U.S. and Canada.  This is a very information rich site that is best suited for High School students or older.

Neave Planetarium
The Neave Planetarium section is excellent for astronomy. It allows you to pick a spot on the planet and look up to the heavens. The stars are shown as they appear in a clear sky and the constellation lines are drawn once you stop moving about in the sky. You also can see the name of the stars with information about size, distance, location and brightness by clicking it.
science fish Wet Web Media  A great resource for maintaining an aquatic habitat in your classroom. Wet Web Media provides plenty of information about setting up, maintaining and learning about the aquatic life that you hope to support. Keeping an aquarium is a great tool for students to be scientists. Letting students take charge of the equipment, selection of creatures and quality control of the micro-habitat requires an array of important skills and is very motivating for many students. Once the habitat is set up, students then can make daily observations of animal behaviors, record data, publish their findings and compare their results to other researchers. This site helps make it easier by providing tons of information about fish species and habitats. Students can also ask the site members questions and provide answers to others. Wet Web Media also has an aquatic science link with current articles from researchers in the field.
