  Google Lit Trips
A true integration of technology in the classroom. This site was started by Jerome Burg, a veteran high school English teacher, with an idea to map out a story using Google Earth and other media tools. He began to add links like time period music and vocabulary to the slides to accompany the story and soon he had a very engaging tool for his students. Jerome continues to add new Lit trips to his site but he also encourages other teachers to add their own trips. He has produced a complete guide and also offers support. So you can go enjoy a show or produce your own.
Exploratree
Perfect for a thinking or brainstorming activity.
This is a free site where you can use premade interactive templates to map your thinking then print or share them. You can change and customize your thinking guides, add text, pictures and a number of other items. Great for setting up projects with students.
Free Rice
A question and answer game created by the UN World Food Program that rewards players by donating grains of rice to hungry people across the world. For English they offer grammar and vocabulary.

PicLits
